You know, if I could just watch RPBN (Republican Party Broadcast Network), commonly known as Fox “News”, and hear any anchor or guest host mention either one of the not-so-good points about the Republican Party or one of the minor good points about the Democrat Party I might be inclined to take a chance and believe just one single thing they report on their channel. Of course, I am excluding their token “Democrat” whipping boy Alan Colmes, whom you have to believe isn’t really what he tries to appear to be.
When Fox News first came on the air back in 1996 I was as mislead as were a lot of people in that I thought they were actually a real news outlet. After a couple of years it began to occur to me that I was getting about 5 minutes of news per hour and 55 minutes (minus commercials) of Democratic Party bashing. And this was with every single one of their programs, no matter who the host was. I can assure you that I am not an admirer or supporter of the Democratic Party, but I certainly am not naive or gullible enough to believe that the Republican Party is as wonderful as RPBN portrays them. The way I see it, neither one of them has much “good” in them and both have an awful lot of “bad” in them. When ask what I am in reference to my politically affiliation I proudly proclaim I am an American!
What really surprises me is the number of people I personally know that actually believe everything Fox reports & says, and refuse to watch another news channel. That’s because Fox has successfully convinced them that the other news outlet are liars except the ones that agree with Fox in totality. Many of the same people will refuse to take a look at undisputed evidence of Fox lying on many points. This tells me one of two things. These people want to believe the lies they are hearing or they are choosing to accept the lesser of two evils. I doubt the latter is the case, but if so, I could accept that if they would only say so. Either way they are contributing to the eventual destruction of our country.
Now that all of this is finally becoming common knowledge, I have to admit it is fun to watch when they are caught red handed with their pants down as to their true mission and are trying to squirm out it.
To understand this nonsense, all you have to do is remember that Rupert Murdoch owns the network. And Rupert Murdoch has left no question as to which political party he wants running our country and, in essence, the world, no matter what it takes. The destruction of America in this century is, to him, an acceptable price to be paid for him to achieve his personal goals.
