Did you ever wonder just how much the politicians really care about our vote? Take the last two presidential elections for example. In the 2000 election both the Democrats and Republicans got 48% of the vote and the decision was made by the Supreme Court in favor of the Republican Party. In 2004 the Republicans won with 51% of the vote. A great celebration ensued by the Republicans on both occasions. The Democrats cried on both occasions. But it is what happened after the election that amazes me. On talk show after talk show the two parties talked about what they had to do to get the 51% the next time. So-called news outlets echoed their respective parties concerns. My amazement comes with the fact that both parties cared only about getting 51%. Hey….. I’ve got a novel idea! How about conducting your business while in office in such a way that will get you say…. 65%!? or better yet, a higher percentage when election time comes around again? But, of course, we know that isn’t necessary. Why waste your time doing the right thing just to get a better percentage of the American people’s support?

“Truth is Truth; Lies are Lies”.
My TITLAL Weblog is an unconventional site that does not take sides on any issue, but may occasionally agree with someone. It has two basic objectives; to aggressively point out dishonesty & greed, and to express my points of view on certain topics & subjects. I do not accept so-called “facts” based on biases only, and my definition of politically correctness has no place on my blog. (PC: “The truth is a lie if I want it to be a lie, and a lie is the truth if I want it to be the truth”) -
